These books will help students analyze texts, discuss ideas and concepts in depth, and develop a critical voice. With your help, my students will have access to enthralling, fiction and nonfiction texts as supplements to the curriculum. Students will use these books to put the ELA Standards to work. Students will work in groups, deeply reading passages from the texts. They will discuss, clarify, summarize and analyze these books. Furthermore, they will CHOOSE their nonfiction texts based on their individual interests. With your donation, you will support learning for learning's sake, as well as aid students in their journey toward proficiency on all standards.
