We are a Title I school with a low-income population and most are families who immigrated from Asia. I have a Kindergarten class of 18 students whose families do not speak English and the students are learning English while teaching their families. My students have a hunger for reading and love read alouds. They enjoy picking books to browse through and to share amongst each other.
