As the opportunities for female wrestlers improve the uniforms need to follow suit and be better for both boys and girls. Current uniforms are one piece and limits the number of people that a uniform can fit. These new two piece uniforms allows more athletes to join wrestling. As there is a wide variety of body types the two piece uniform can comfortably fit a wider range of people by allowing the coaches to mix and match. This allows more wrestlers to join in the extra curricular activity who may be sensitive to body issues. When more people join it makes the whole team more competitive.
