These are some of our students that enjoy learning with technology rich lessons. Many teachers need instruction on how to better utilize technology in a way that will assist students in comprehending and understanding information. At our school we are one to one with laptops. That gives us an advantage in being able to provide more digital content. Increasing teacher knowledge on effectively creating digital lessons will give our students access to fully interactive lessons. Learning how to integrate features such as audio, video, web links for further explorations, digital activities, slideshows, Google Maps, key words, and quizzes will allow teachers to meet the different learning styles of all students. These technology rich lessons are found to be more engaging which helps activate the brain for retention of knowledge. When surveyed, 82% of our students would like for lessons to be engaging and relevant.
