My classroom has a diverse population of learners! Students come from all parts of the world including Pakistan, Mexico, Ecuador, Yemen and India. We are a Title 1 school where more than half of the students come from low income households. As a second grade teacher, I work tirelessly to try to help my students achieve success academically, socially and emotionally. My classroom environment is warm and inviting and my students come to school everyday eager to learn. At times though, I do not have the supplies needed for my students to reach their full potential in the classroom.
