This project aims to support my jazz band saxophonists by purchasing new mouthpieces specifically designed for use in jazz band. These mouthpieces will help my students achieve a more characteristic jazz sound. The throat of these mouthpieces is designed for jazz band alto and tenor players. This will change the tone, projection, and pitch of the instrument. These mouthpieces will be checked out to students for use in the jazz band for rehearsals and concerts. Once the year is finished they will be cleaned, sanitized, and checked out to next year’s saxophone players. Thank you for considering donating to my class protect!
