My students are enrolled in Extended Transition at Paul B. Stephens. They are 18 to 22 years old, and of various disabilities (autism, Down's Syndrome, etc). We are located in an Center school for ESE students. They are learning Life Skills (cooking, folding clothes, organizing various items, and acrylic painting on Thursdays and Fridays). Every year, I organize art galleries for my students where they learn self-advocacy and self-determination, as well as market their own artwork. Also, we take field trips to museums in our County.
