We are an up-and-coming "school of the arts" school serving Title I (high-poverty) students in grades TK-5. By integrating the arts into the academic curriculum, each time a student uses information in a new and different way, they embed the information slightly more into their brain. On the emotional side of the learning coin, many of our students come to school with a variety of at-risk needs. Many come from from difficult situations, which in turn causes stress on the child. This constant stress makes it difficult for students to focus and engage in the learning process.

About my class
