Critical thinking and problem solving is so important in all aspects of life. The materials I have chosen will help my students develop these skills through play. I will use these materials during our W.I.N. (What I Need) Enrichment groups. We will have enough materials for students to work in small groups of two to three students. Creative play allows students to develop logical reasoning, problem solving, and critical thinking skills. Students are highly engaged when they get to build, create and work together. The Code Master Programming game challenges students to move their avatar through an exotic world using programming skills. The Keva Contraptions kits encourage student creativity and develop engineering skills. All of these skills can be developed through play!
