I am requesting the opportunity to attend a professional development conference in the area of social-emotional well-being. This conference will allow me to gain new strategies for helping all of my students. The 200-hour training is specifically designed to support educators in transforming ourselves, our relationships, and our communities. Far too often mental health is ignored! Together, we study powerful mind-body wellness practices like yoga, mindfulness, and breathwork - and learn self-care, social-emotional learning, and community building strategies that positively impact our lives. I am confident that the knowledge I will gain from this conference will help me to become an even more effective teacher.
