Technology is here to stay and is in all parts of our daily lives. We use technology for learning and for play. Technology can be a great tool for learning but it can also be dangerous. I work with students who have special needs and I do look at technology as a great way to individualize activities for them, but also to teach them the do's and don'ts of on-line safety. I have an internet safety unit that lasts about 4 months. I think it is THAT important! I would like Chromebooks to use for individualized instruction and also to constantly teach appropriate on-line/technology use.
