Each year in February we hold a Jump Rope for Heart Event at school. Throughout the month of February students have been raising money for the American Heart Association in honor of Heart Month. To celebrate our students' perseverance we end the month with a fun event during the school day that includes a lot of jumping. All students are allowed to participate in the event regardless of whether they raised money or not. Keeping our hearts healthy and staying active is the overlying message of the program. This year we would like to make the event a little more special for students. We would like to purchase LED jump ropes along with glow stick necklaces/bracelets to use during the event. Once the event begins lights will turn off, music will turn on and students will be jumping and celebrating the culmination of the program all while brightly glowing and having a fantastic time.
