Our classroom atmosphere is what I like to call "organized chaos." We always have hands-on reading lessons, technology-based writing projects, and happy, high-energy kids moving around controlling their own learning. It is very important to me that my students have all the resources they need right in our classroom so that their learning is memorable and enjoyable. They come from all different backgrounds and walks of life, but the majority of them come from low-income households. However, they still all come to school excited to read and engaged and self-motivated in their writing and learning. They inspire me to face life head on every morning and I truly want the world for them!

About my class
