My goal is to teach students the right behaviors through social skills curriculum and technology. Young students may not understand what they did wrong, or how to behave in school, it is important to teach behavior just like we teach academics. I plan to create google classrooms filled with social skills lessons at their grade level. Student having a consequence for misbehavior will be able to complete a lesson teaching a life skill- like self management, or empathy. Students having trouble keeping their hands to themselves will complete lessons on self control. The chromebooks will also increase knowledge in the technology field for young students. This type of positive disipline focuses on proactively teaching the right way to behave.
