The transportation Technology program at our school is alwasy looking to make improvements in both quality of work and productivity. Our students strive to learn by hands-on "real world" tasks. On a daily basis, we work on anything from a routine oil change to a complete engine swap. Our students do not hold back on what we do or shy away from a complicated task. Having the needed tools will help all students speed production and increase the quality of work. A good set of service jacks would benefit our students by increasing our productivity (not waiting for another student to get done) and safety. Our portable chargers, extension cords, and jigsaws would benefit our CO2 car design project, which is where students learn the process of how a vehicle is made, starting with drafting design, prototype, production, aerodynamics, testing and functionality. I love the look in their faces after they see the finished project. My students enjoy learning how do diagnose, trouble shoot, and repair most aspect of the vehicle. They love working on cars and want to mit a career.
