Becoming a first year teacher is rewarding but also challenging at the same time. My student are very near and dear to me. They love to move around in my classroom with a good book in hand. Although they love to go on an adventure inside a good book, they have to sit on the floor in order to do so. Living in a low-income area, the resource that are available are very limited. My students deserve the best, however, it is very difficult for me, as their teacher, to provide all that they need to succeed. I would love for my students to have bean bags to sit on while they read. I hope that you would grant my request and provide this for my classroom.
