My name is Mrs. Riepe and I am fortunate to teach an amazing group of eighteen second graders at Lakewood Primary School! My students are intelligent, inquisitive, and hard working. They have been taught about Internet safety and eagerly research topics using kid friendly sites on a weekly basis. At the present time, our class has three student iPads. Since my students are becoming more independent learners, my goal is to eventually have one tablet/device for each pair of students. This will not only allow them to research more effectively, but will also let me use sites such as Kahoot! to gauge their understanding of concepts in a fun and interactive way.
