My students are typical middle schoolers. They have short attention spans, like to move around, be goofy, and have fun. They come from a variety of economic backgrounds and home lives. My students like to create, be imaginative, and come up with new ideas. As a teacher I am constantly challenged to come up with new ways to motivate and challenge my students while making them comfortable to share new ideas and think outside of the box in a safe place.
