In this project, I am requesting whiteboards and dry-erase markers. During class, I write a practice problem on the board and the students will solve or graph the solution on a whiteboard. For example, I would write -3 (2x-8) = 12 on the board. The students will solve the equation and show me their individual whiteboards. The students are able to receive immediate feedback on their practice problems by displaying answers and work on whiteboards. I can see if the answer is correct immediately or if I need to provide remediation. Providing opportunities in this way, allows all students to take part in class and receive feedback at the same time. Whiteboards allow students to make mistakes with anonymity.
