My 31st year of teaching started off with a real bang. Hurricane Harvey rolled through our small town severely damaging my school and my classroom. While we will be in portable buildings for the remainder of the year, I am looking to get a rug for my students to sit on during our reading intervention lessons. I am also in need of a library book shelf for the books I was able to salvage from the flood so that my students can have their books easily accessible while in my classroom. I work with small groups of students that are struggling readers and they love fun seating when they are at the horseshoe table. The colored stacking stools will provide them with comfortable and fun seating and will be easy to stack and store as I will be in a tiny portable building. Thank you to ATPE; they will match donations dollar for dollar.
