I am the reading specialist at my school. I work with students from K-3rd. I am also in charge of the Reading Resources at my school. My school is in Illinois in a low income neighborhood. 98% of our families receive free lunch services. Our students are very well behaved and like to be in school. They love new opportunities to learn, but they are 5 to 8 years old and tend to lose focus easily. I am constantly having to find new engaging ways to keep their attention.
