I've enjoyed teaching in a self-contained classroom and has always integrated art into my curriculum. I've turned my passion of art and made the change to become an Art teacher in hopes of inspiring students to love art too. I teach approximately 600 students in 3 different schools in my district. Our district provides us with some funding for art supplies, but it's often not enough materials to effectively be creative. Having the necessary supplies will allow me to create lessons that will promote hands-on learning, student creativity and students become more invested and engaged in their learning.
