Bok Academy offers a unique educational opportunity that exemplifies and honors the life of the philanthropist Edward W. Bok, who in the 1920's, created a sanctuary of beauty, serenity, and peace in Lake Wales, Florida. Our goal at Edward W. Bok Academy is to educate Renaissance thinkers for the digital age. We incorporate a wide array or technologies that foster creativity, ingenuity, and leadership. Bok's curriculum aims to provide a global perspective, an ethos of service, and a keen understanding of the digital world. We are a title 1 school and serves students of various ethnic, cultural, and religious backgrounds. My US History classroom LOVES to take a hands-on approach to learning history and I like to incorporate activities that allow students to learn this way. Thanks for your support!
