My inspiring, hard working students all have Autism and attend a special education school public in New York. They are middle school students, ages 11 to 14, and they are all unique. In my classroom, students achieve greatness every single day. Whether they are solving an addition problem, responding when someone says "hello" in the hall way, or simply looking a classmate in the eye, they are constantly progressing and learning. They teach me compassion, patience, and loyalty.
