These notebooks will help our students improve their reading and writing skills. These notebooks will allow our students to become authors and feel the rewards of the success of producing something independently that they can be proud of and share with their friends and families. As we know, our students cannot get through to the future without strong reading and writing skills. These notebooks will allow our students to become independent authors by expressing their thoughts, feelings, and ideas. At the end of the school year, we will celebrate each of our students in an author's celebration. Many of our students do not have the opportunity to enhance their literacy skills at home due to limited access to materials and finances. However, these notebooks will open the door for many of our students to become future authors and illustrators!
