This project will allow my students to extend their knowledge past the classroom and into a love reading! My classroom reading corner is a place where my students can escape from their reality, and dive into a world full of entertainment, adventure, and learning! All of these books have been chosen with my students in mind-each book carefully selected to reflect the overall interests of my students while also bridging the gap between what they've already read and what they've yet to be exposed to. They are ready to shift from learning to read, to reading to learn! With this project, my students will be allowed the opportunity to read books at their own reading level that they have selected. We will use this project to host book studies and book recommendations, causing a ripple effect in student book selections! My students are just beginning their journey of reading. With this project, my students will be pushed further and dive into the world of reading to learn!
