Having the ability to build and program a 3D printer is a skill that can be used not only in school, but can open doors to their future. Being able to create these chess and checker sets for these individuals opens the door to give back to those who opened doors before them. They plan on using these items and giving lessons to those who do not know how to play, as well as help the senior center conduct a tournament. These 3D printers are the building blocks that will educate and develop social skills that can't be taught just in a classroom.

About my class
