Technology is an ever present thing within our society. Jobs are bursting with innovative technology positions, and learning is driven by the use of technology. I have seen the benefits and growth that can happen when students have readily available access to technology and can guide their own learning. Unfortunately, our school has not been given the same opportunity to provide technology for every student that many other schools have had. I am looking to relieve the financial burden off my school and provide technology for my classroom. I am asking for 20 Chromebooks (I know it's a lot) so that I can have a class set of computers. This will have a major impact on my students' ability to learn and grow and be ready for jobs in the 21st century!
