Through our classroom library, my students will experience life outside of their own situations and circumstances. They will be taken on the greatest adventures while living through their heroes' victories and find solace in the tragedies. Students will experience the hush of our classroom when Wendy falls from the sky and John Henry appears victorious through the haze of debris and smoke, all the while begging for more! As good books support their character formation and imagination, they will find camaraderie and similarities between themselves and their circumstances and the characters found within their stories. Books will become their gateway to life beyond themselves.

About my class
