The students in my ELA classes have a range of independent reading levels. The levels of the students range from K to T. Having a total of 45 students taking books out from the classroom library sometimes leaves "slim pickings" to choose from. The students would certainly benefit from having a variety of books to choose from on all different levels. When reading each and every day for 40 to 50 minutes, it is important for the students to have books that they find interesting. The donations for this project will help promote a rich and exciting library for all 4th grade students to choose from. The donation of nonfiction and fiction books will allow students to have access to all different genres that the students will enjoy reading independently.
