I teach 6th - 8th grade German at Clay Middle School in Carmel, Indiana. Our school mandates that all students study a world language throughout their middle school years giving our students an early opportunity to begin learning a language and being confronted with the fact that learning a language is an ongoing effort over a stretch of many years and cannot be accomplished in a short period of time. With those facts in mind, our school does not allow students to switch to another language once they have chosen their language.

About my class
