Each of these books will help support learning in our unit projects of community, diversity and justice, and service. Our students will use these books to research, build background knowledge, and make connections with their own lives. By donating to our project, you will be helping our students' knowledge of the world and their part in it to grow. For our Community unit, we explore immigrant's perspectives on coming through Ellis Island and learn about our own family histories. In our Justice and Diversity unit, we learn about slow and fast earth changes, such as erosion or natural disasters. We also explore people who have helped to shape the earth. During our service unit, students will grow their own gardens and serve it to the school. Thank you for helping to provide these books that will deepen our understanding!
