The Lakeshore leveled books classroom library will help students become successful and enthusiastic readers. Research has shown what teachers have know for years: the more contact students have with books, the better readers they become. Specifically selected books are ideal for both guided readers and independent readers. These materials will allow students to grow and love reading by being a successful reader. These leveled books will meet every student's needs to thrive as a new reader. Students with limited reading skills will have books to enjoy as well as students who have higher reading skills will enjoy more challenging books. Students will be able to take these readers home and share their reading experience with their family. Building a bridge between family and school is always successful.
