My classroom consists of Kindergarten, 1st, and 2nd grade students who have emotional and behavioral difficulties. My students struggle with regulating their emotions in a large-group environment and in high stress situations. Many of them have anxiety and mental health related issues. Our goal is to give them the necessary tools to recognize and control their emotions better so they can be included back into the general education environment.
