My students are incredibly hardworking and talented individuals. They are always optimistic in any situation and work to be their best. Coming from a low-income area, we don't have the means to make everything possible, but we try to make the most out of everything we have. Our band is pretty small at the moment, but we are starting to grow! This means we are going to need more instruments and equipment to keep our program running, as well as to help the students thrive! My students love being in band and work hard to make their performances great. With our budget, however, it is sometimes hard to add to their performances with props, instruments, and equipment the same way a larger band with a larger budget could. These kids deserve the best and deserve the chance to be in a program that has nice equipment and quality instruments.
