I would love to expose the students to non-fiction topics on a weekly basis. When they love what they are learning it isn’t work, it is fun! Young children are naturally drawn to animal science. They love learning about new animals. Time for Kids fulfills this thirst for knowledge on a regular basis. The social studies component would be amazing when teaching about how big our world is. Exposure to cultures that are different than our is invaluable. The focus on literacy at a young grade is huge. I would love to teach about science and social studies while developing their reading skills.
