My students are seniors in AP Biology. They have told me and shown me that they learn best from DOING! The AP Biology curriculum covers a very broad array of topics. Cellular communication is one of the more challenging topics. This kit allows my students to use microscopes to see two strains of yeast communicating. They will also have the opportunity to design their own experiments using mating pheromones! This lab will stay in my student's minds through the year as we prepare for the AP Exam in the spring. Please support my students, so they can LEARN BY DOING!
