My students are working on their reading skills. These skills include decoding and encoding. We have a program that we use online to help build these different skills. Student are listening to words and changing different sounds, finding rhymes and identifying words. Having a set of headphones for each child would be beneficial for them to be able to hear what they are learning. When students are in this programs it involves for them to be able to listen to the directions and the letters or words displayed. When you have a full class and they all need to listen it can become very loud and distracting. I want my students to be able to show growth when reading and this would be a step in the right direction.
