These materials will make a huge impact on my students. Unfortunately, my school was destroyed by Hurricane Harvey this year. As a result, we've had to rebuild our school in a very short amount of time in a new location. I've lost my teaching materials and the students have lost almost a month of valuable instructional time. I will be working very hard to make up for lost time. I believe these Kids's Fire tablets and cases will aid in engaging my students and keeping their interest during station time. With the headphones I am requesting, my students will be able to listen to good readers by accessing online read alouds, but they'll be able to access a variety of reading apps. I am also requesting Wobble Chairs for my students to sit in during reading time, a giant classroom timer, and Magnetic Activity Board to help my students learn.
