Students will be provided weekly investigations in Science. Students will use calculators to assist in calculating density of unknown metals. The calculator will also assist students that may have calculator accommodations as part of their Individualized Educational Plan (IEP). Lab aprons will be needed to protect students clothing during investigations such as the testing of unknown substances for the identity and classification of acids and bases and investigations that require students to identify chemical changes/chemical reactions along with other labs that will require protection. Lastly, the stop watches will assist students in tracking time requirements when lab investigations require time tracking at various points of the lab activity.
