Giving young minds resources that allow them to use their hands and imagination is always a powerful thing! Letting them work together to build something they are proud of, fosters confidence, team work and skills they will use in not only daily life, but ones that might possibly shape their interests and future occupations. Getting them to see our world as a place of community that values out of the box solutions will encourage them to think like that in the future. Tools such as Legos help them to explore, problem solve and produce something they envision. The fact that they are having fun through play is just icing on the cake, and is often more meaningful than an app or workbook.

About my class
