This is a photo of my amazing Drawing 1 class. These kids are ages 14-18. Freshman to Seniors in high school. In this photo they are coloring a large wall mural we have in our class room! Color is such an important component in art. A bright colorful classroom atmosphere is important to me. Each month we hang a new mural and all my art classes contribute to coloring and customizing the mural. They take great pride in this and it helps them to create something as a group and classroom community.
