Being an avid reader and having a love of reading is beneficial in many ways both inside the classroom and outside. I want to expose my students to this great book in hopes that it will help to foster and grow a love of reading that they will carry with them for their entire life! By using the great book The Miraculous Journey of Edward Tulane as our novel study I think I can accomplish this! Through the novel study, students will not only be exposed to a great book, but they will get to practice and reinforce comprehension skills that were taught.
