I feel like my students are some of the best students and we teach them to become our future. My students are in a low-income area and they lack the knowledge of how life is outside of their neighborhood. Some of my students lost their homes and many items, due to Hurricane Harvey. Considering all of these effects, they still come to my class eager to learn. My students are hard workers, I have students who range from being in the United States their whole lives, and I have students who also have just arrived from El Salvador, Mexico, or Honduras. Hurricane Harvey will not displace our learning!!!
