Having a comfortable carpet for floor seating will make story time and educational video viewing a more intimate experience that will allow students to be closer to the presenter and not have to worry with the distraction of moving classroom furniture, as well as provide sound dampening for a room full of hard flat surfaces. During video time or story time, students can leave their tables and gather together, sitting on the colorful carpet, to be a part of the narrative experience. This will allow students the opportunity to experience stories, videos, and books read aloud in a comfortable audience setting.
