My students enjoy reading independently and as a group. I want to help them continue to love reading by giving them a space where they immerse themselves into any book of their choosing. I am hoping to provide them with a warm and relaxing space where they can reading their favorite books. With having a carpet area with chair bean bags will allow students to have this relaxing area. They will be able to sit on the carpet or chairs where they will be comfortable while they read instead of sitting in a cold hard chair. Having this area I believe will also motivate some of my students who may need a little more motivation because I know that they would prefer sitting in the reading area over their desk.
