As a new teacher, my colleagues have been more than generous in sharing their art supplies, but my students are in need of paint, brushes, oil pastels and similar art supplies in their own classroom and readily available. They need the flexibility to show me what they have learned and their mastery of the standards through a creative outlet. With these tools, students will be able to connect what they have learned in literature, science, and social studies to visual arts and writing. They will be able to create paintings, drawings, books and many other unique and original works to be proud of.

About my class
