Due to Hurricane Harvey we lost access to our campus and most of our technology. As an elective teacher to our STEM Academy STEMgineers, AVID is a class students truly enjoy! My class is fun, but most importantly is a safe environment for them to explore. As a teacher in a low income school it is critical my students have the right tools to succeed today and tomorrow. I see the potential in every single one of my students to become successful leaders. Most of my students rarely leave Houston, technology most of the time becomes the closest thing to traveling and exploring the real world. This is why I try my best to expose them to as many technological tools possible so that they'll be prepared to take on their future!

About my class
