This project is intended for kindergarten through second grade students at a Title I school in a high poverty area. The books that are donated will go towards classroom libraries in order to help our students have access to lower level books. These particular books will help our students improve in their language acquisition and reading fluency. Many of our teachers do not have the additional funds to buy books for their classroom. Since these grades service over half of our school population, the amount of books needed is staggering. Our school is in need of lower level fiction and nonfiction books that will help our ELL students become lifelong readers!
