Having these leveled readers will allow my students to read different types of genres at their individual levels. It will also expose them to higher level books which will help them move up within levels. All students learn differently, this will allow each one to find the "just right book" for them and help strengthen their comprehension skills as well as their fluency. The love my students have for reading will allow them to keep their imaginations blooming! These leveled books will be used by the students to again be able to build on their fluency as well as their comprehension skills. They will also be able to complete book reports and daily read and response questions in order to help them understand what they are reading. In addition, having a variety of literature will expand their global thinking.
